Hurry hurry we got to get to school before the bell rings hurry!Yelled Maggie to her brother Ronald.It was the same first day of school like it has been the last 3 years.What time is it mom. yelled Maggie as she stuffed books in her backpack her mom did not answer her it took her mom a few moments to see the clock 7;00 she said as she put on her shoes.When they finally got in the car the music was BLASTING and the air conditioning was set as cold as a ice burg even though it was freezing outside.They fixed what had gone wrong like always,drove to school and then they noticed something. Everyone was there waiting for them it´s not like last year they thought.

Today it was going to be Jan 4, 2022. The new year is a way to be different. I had some breakfast. I thought it was going to be toast but it was . It was toast. It’s not like last year she thought. Because when she wants something she would have something else.Maybe it was a better year and like she thought it was going to be beret but she did not think breakfast was going to. Well she thought this was going to be the best year and it was the best year as day went by and it got better.

One night before going to bed, me and my mom had a talk about the New Year (our new year goals). So I told her mine and she told me hers, I thought hers was more like a lifetime goal not like a one year goal. I told her mine was becoming a better dancer. She said “it’s not like last year she thought.” Hers was to start a huge lifetime business that would go on for years and years. To make more money outside of work and achieve her goal of starting her own business and for me to become a better dancer.

It’s not like last year he thought to himself looking out the window of a skyscraper. Last year he had been living in an apartment in Moab but now he was living in a skyscraper in New York. He thought very deeply about how he managed to go from poor to rich in a couple of months. He remembered working for some mysterious man in an alleyway asking him to retrieve an amulet with a bioluminescent fang inside of it. The man said he had a collection of them and he would pay him very much if he found it so that’s what he did.
My name was Brady and it was the end of the school year and the covid 32 virus. And we had worn masks all year. When we finally got back to school we were scared of wearing masks all year. My friend asked me if we did. I said it’s not like last year I thought. When we got to school the poster said it was closed. I looked at the phone. It was the right time but it was saturday. I guess no school today. I went home and played video games all day with my friends that day I will always remember.

I was walking to school one morning thinking about what I was going to learn that day. When I got to the school I was already 10 minutes late. I knew what my teacher was going to say so I tried to prepare myself as much as I could. Slowly walking into the classroom trying to find what seats were open I lost my train of thought when my teacher said “You’re late!” I knew she was going to say that! “ It’s not like last year “ he thought. But his teacher thought much differently.

One day, my whole family woke up and it was NYE! I was so excited. My mom started to prepare food but then my whole family got covid:( I started crying because then we couldn’t go to the Marriot to celebrate the New Year! It was sad that we couldn’t go but my mom made good food, and warmed up bread in the air fryer. It was about 11:00PM and we were eating and having fun. It was now time for the countdown. It’s not like last year he thought when he came outside he wanted to see what was different than last year he saw that people are not wearing masks they say they have found a vaccine that works to help make it harder to get covid he went to see his class that was online they got vaccinated still had to wear their masks they went outside he saw we can take off our masks he wants to sleep in because of covid he wants to sleep cause he want some rest in his bed.

I’m on a winning streak you can’t win.” lucie was on a 91 winning streak but you know it was all about to change.”fine i´ll play one game for your whole piggy bank and yours yup.” The game was about to start ten minutes passed and they were on the same block 10 away from the end and then their mom called them for dinner.

He had nothing to do but he forgot that he can go outside and then he said’’it’s not like last year ‘,he thought .But when he went outside everyone was wearing a mask so he just went back to his house.When he turned on his tv and he watched the news and he saw that you can get the vaccine for covid 19 so he went back outside with a mask and he went in his car and went to get the vaccine.When he got out his arm was really hurting so he went back home and rested it.
