  1. I have two ideas of a climax the first idea is his mom might not be dead and she is living which I dont think is gonna happen. Now the second one that makes a lot more sense is he starts to enjoy life more and since he started watching his comics again he might become more happy and then something like a friend he has could stop being Friends with David and that might make him get mad and he can stop doing things and be realy mean to his grandma and dad.

  2. I think the climax will be two ideas of a climax. The first idea is his mom might not be dead and she is living, which I dont think is gonna happen. Now the second one that makes a lot more sense is he starts to enjoy life more and since he started watching his comics again he might become more happy and then something like a friend he has could stop being Friends with David and that might make him get mad and he can stop doing things and be really mean to his grandma and dad. Which can be a climax.

  3. I think the high part of eggs could be that Primrose and David will maybe become best friends, David’ mom will come back to life and David becomes way way nicer to his grandmother and actually has more respect for her, towards doing daily basic things.

  4. i think that its going to be that he figures out more about his mom and his moms death and stuff about his grandma and why she is so strict

  5. i think the climax is how David is going to find a friend and understand that friends are important to have some because friends can be helpful in many times like when your down friends can help you in hard times we all need a friend or friends

  6. Well the author is talking about this so much because maybe this is showing them and how they get closer and closer together or maybe this is just my thinking.

  7. So basically, David and Primrose where going “shopping” in her words but to David it was “trashpicking”. So if David wanted to he could come along with Primrose to get people’s trash so they could go to a flea market on Saturday and sell all the good trash so she could have enough money to buy paint for the room in the van.

  8. I think because it shows what they were doing instead of shopping that they were trying to look through the trash to find stuff to sell for some money and it shows what was happening instead of showing they went “shopping”then they went home it said they went “shopping” at night they snuck out to go grab some stuff.

  9. when David promises to go shopping with Primrose they will sell all all the stuff for the paint to paint the car. I think they should go so they can get paint for the car. I think the author is writing so much about this because he wants the to explain shopping in this passage.

  10. I think that the two kids went shopping to grab stuff that they could have or maybe to give their parents or to stall or money because I know That Primrose wanted to get paint to paint of the van which David calls the house because Primrose lives in the van

One thing that I liked about this book is how many twists and turns there are in this book. Because Friendship isn’t always sunny side up. One thing I dislike about this book is the characters. There are just not a lot of characters which in my opinion I think there should be more characters because the story is already good but if there were more characters I think the story would be better. I think the most important part is in between two options. Option one is when Primrose takes David to the Midsummer Night’s Scream(On page 136 is when they went in) and they get in but before it starts David starts to scream at Primrose saying you’re not my mother and they both eventually start leaving. Option two is when Primrose and David go to Pennsylvania because it shows how far and committed they both might be to their friendship. I would recommend that people who are into/interested in friendship would be a good fit for the book eggs. Another reader type would be people who like to see what happens next because every chapter it feels like something super important happens. WHat I would rate Eggs 1-5 I would say that it is probably a 4.5-5.

  12. Eggs Book Review By Bailey Hoskins

The book Eggs by Jerry Spinelli is about a kid named David, who thought he didn’t need friends. In the beginning of the book David’s grandma told David that he will need friends later on in life. David ends up making friends later on in the book. David had made a friend named Primrose. She is thirteen years old and she lives in a van because she can’t stand her mother because she is a crazy person. She is a fortune teller that says that everyone will have a good life other than primrose.
My reaction to the book is that I was shocked at how Primrose acted dead but then also how well David and Primrose got along because at first when David met Primrose I thought that when Primrose got woken up from the sleep i thought that she would hurt David. My thoughts on David are emotional . I think that he is very emotional.
I would rate the Book Eggs a ⅗ because there are parts in that make the book a ⅗ like how it was explained. But what I do like about the book Eggs is how detailed it is. It was good and it showed the way that Primrose said you’re dead!. I loved how it showed the anger in Primrose in the text. It really showed me how Primrose felt because she screamed you’re dead it got me thinking how she felt. It showed me how Primrose felt towards david. It got me thinking about what could have happened if Primrose got so mad that she could have hurt David.it got me thinking about what could happen if things got out of hand with Primrose.
I would say this book is a great book for emonatal people because there are some parts that can make people sad even if I got sad once but this book has great drama and could be sad but if you want to find out then read the book eggs.

I really liked reading eggs because it showed two different perspectives of David and Primrose and about their personal lives. We found out ,along the book that David’s mom died from walking by a “wet floor” zone and didn’t realize it said that. I forgot to mention that it was on a staircase, so she slipped down the stairs and passed away. But we never really found out what actually happened to Primrose’s father, at first she would hang out with her dad sometimes but then he just wasn’t a part of her life anymore. Before they met each other David had found, what he thought was a dead body in a park, that was a big thing in the book but it was just Primrose the whole time. It was just a little feather in the book that they met each other for the first time ever, since then, they have been a lot closer.Than they went to Philadelphia and David didn’t want to go, so he really wanted to throw stones at Primrose. Once they got to Philadelphia David found his mom and was happy to talk to her a lot more. I would suggest this book, ages 7 and up because there are some parts that not everyone understands. But I think all ages would really be interested in Eggs if you like friendship.
    I would rate Egg a 4.8/5
